DIEREN SCHILDERIJ
Animals on canvas, hand-painted
A red-and-white cow with character, a kingfisher in full dive or the portrait of your own dog: Sarah paints animals with the same love as people, down to the last hair and feather.
From the animals collection
Animal portraits are eye-catchers with humour and feeling. The collection holds farm animals, birds and wildlife; on commission Sarah also paints your own pet from a photo.
Your own animal on canvas
Besides the cows, birds and wildlife in the collection, Sarah paints many pets on commission. A portrait of your dog, cat or horse starts with a good photo at eye level; Sarah captures not just the coat but above all the gaze and the character. Many animal portraits are given as birthday gifts, or as a comforting memento of a pet that is no longer there.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does Sarah need for a portrait of my pet?
A sharp photo at eye level, preferably in daylight. Several photos are welcome; Sarah chooses or combines.
Is it possible if my pet has already passed away?
Yes, especially then. With the photos you have, Sarah creates a memento that holds on to your pet's character.
How long does a commissioned pet portrait take?
Usually four to eight weeks, depending on size and schedule. For a birthday: order in good time.
