Commission a painting
Sometimes the most beautiful painting does not exist yet. A portrait of your parents, your own dog on canvas, the house you grew up in: Sarah paints it on commission, exactly as you envision it.
Commission a portrait
Portraits are her speciality; in the TV show Stars on Canvas 2024 she portrayed Martine van Os and her work became the audience favourite. A commissioned portrait starts with a good conversation and one or more photos. Together you choose the size and mood, and you see progress images while she paints.
Your pet or a cherished place too
Besides people, Sarah paints dogs, cats, horses and other animals with astonishing character, and still lifes around meaningful objects: the family china, a beloved instrument, a household of treasures in one composition. A commission is usually ready in four to eight weeks, depending on size and schedule.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What does a commissioned painting cost?
It depends on size and complexity. Count on a few hundred euros for a small work; you receive a clear quote in advance.
What kind of photo do I need for a portrait?
A sharp photo at eye level with good light works best. Sarah is happy to advise and can combine several photos if needed.
What if I am not happy with the result?
You follow the process and can steer along the way. Only when you are happy is the work varnished and delivered.
Rather something on commission?
Sarah also paints portraits, animals and still lifes from your own photo or idea. Get in touch for the possibilities and a price indication.
